The Star is conveniently located adjacent to the train station with a lovely garden view from our room. Breakfast was a treat with many great options like delicious hot dishes and freshly made choices. The staff were fantastic, particularly Jasmine, who made breakfast enjoyable with her cheerful service.

While the family suite I booked was spacious, it directly overlooked the pub, making it difficult to relax with live music blaring below. I found the check-in process to be cumbersome, as the staff seemed overwhelmed with other guests, leading to delays. Finally, despite the enticing pub food being highly recommended, my order took too long to arrive, and when it did, it was not as hot as I had hoped.

The room was comfy and spacious, which was nice after a long day. It had a relaxing vibe, but it was a bit dark since the lights weren't super bright. The decor was charming, adding some character. Plus, there were these fun little touches like local shortbread and bottled water. It made for a cozy stay overall.

Exceptional Staff and Cozy Rooms
I had a fantastic stay with exceptionally friendly staff who truly made my experience memorable. The room was well-decorated, spacious, and offered a lovely ambiance that was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Breakfast options were scrumptious, with quick service that got my day started on a high note. One minor drawback was the parking situation. it was a bit tricky to find a spot when I arrived, but the overall charm of the place made up for it.
